What is RPM?
Remote physiologic monitoring (RPM) involves collecting patient information that a healthcare provider can use to manage a patient’s care.
Is there a cost to me as the patient?
Veta Health does not charge any fees directly from the patient. However, a co-payment may be applicable under the Medicare program and is generally covered by your secondary insurance. If you don’t have secondary insurance, you may have a small copay.
What information do the devices collect?
The devices we use measure normal physical metrics such as blood pressure, weight heart rate and blood sugar. The devices collect the necessary personal information related to you and your health condition that you have agreed to. For more information on the data we collect, please review our Privacy Policy here.
When should I use my device?
Use the device at least one time every day. It’s best to try and use it at the same time each day.
Will I get a phone call every day?
No, we will only reach out to remind you to use your device and if we receive any concerning information from your device. For example, if you have a sudden weight increase, a care coordinator will call to check on you.
I haven’t received my device yet. Where is my device?
It can take 7-10 business days for a device to arrive at your home once you have consented as part of the program. If you think your device is missing, contact us or fill out this form and we’ll take a look into it.
