In certain cases, a care team may elect to distribute devices directly to patients (e.g. in a clinical setting, during a home visit, etc.) rather than ordering a device for delivery to the patient’s home address.
The care team member will select ‘Assign Device’ from the top of the tab.
A dialog box will be displayed prompting the user to enter the device type (e.g., Bodytrace Blood Pressure Cuff) and Device ID (e.g. IMEI, or serial number). The serial number is found on the outside of the device box and on the bottom of the device itself. In cases where a cellular hub is assigned, there is an optional field to enter the Hub ID.
After entering the device ID, the user would ask the patient to use the device. Afterward, the user
needs to verify that the data transmitted into Prosper Care and that the serial number in the Device Table matches the device.
